How do I find roomates?

Hopkins has an off-campus housing website that students can utilize to find housing or roommates. This website allows you to create a profile and meet other Hopkins students across all campuses.

What type of housing is available?

Although Hopkins does not have university sponsored housing, there are several options that are close and convenient to campus.

929 Apartments – Located at the northeast corner of the Hopkins campus, 929 apartments are conveniently located to Starbucks, Verizon, 7/11, Walgreens, Atwaters Cafe. Building entry is controlled with key card access, and a 24 hr. concierge desk on the first floor. Building amenities include buisiness center, fitness center, rooftop terrace, and a grab&go coffee station. Rent includes wifi, HD cable and all utilities! Different floor plans are available to suit your needs.

Jefferson Square Apartments – Conveniently located South of campus on Wolfe Street, Jefferson Square is steps to the Hopkins Hospital, CVS, Ledo Pizza and Afghan Kabob. Building amenities include 24 hour concierge service, a resident game room, media room, fitness center, controlled access parking garage, outdoor courtyard area and more. Builidng is pet friendly and there are different floor plans to suit your needs.

Horizon House – Located in the heart of Mount Vernon. Apartment building has it’s own shuttle that runs to and from Hopkins! Building amenties include controlled building access, 24 hour concierge service, rooftop swimming pool, parking garage, fitness center, business center, package acceptance service, on-site convenience store and nail spa, and more. Building is pet friendly! Furnished apartments are available. Rent includes all utilities.

Rowhomes – Many students opt to live in a rowhome in the neighborhoods surrounding Hopkins. Typically, students will live with 2-3 roommates. Popular neighborhoods include Fells Point, Upper Fells Point, Butchers Hill, Canton, Mount Vernon and Charles Village. Most of these neighborhoods are within walking distance of Hopkins, or located near the Hopkins shuttle route.
