Denton A. Cooley Center – This is the main gym for the East Baltimore campus. Memberships are FREE to full time graduate students, and includes access to weight rooms, locker rooms and showers, raquetball courts, basketball courts and an indoor track. There is an outdoor pool open Memorial Day through Labor Day, and a student membership can be purchased starting at $70. Students must pay for exercise classes. The Cooley center hosts intramural sports leagues in fall, winter and spring!
Cooley Center Satellite (JHSPH, 9th floor) – Graduate students who have a membership at Cooley have access to the fitness center in the School of Public Health. Gym is equipped with cardio machines, weights and a locker room with showers. No group fitness classes are held here.
Ralph O’Connor Gym (Homewood Campus) – Memberships at the Undergraduate Campus are available to all East Baltimore graduate students. Cost of membership is $96/6 months, or $192/annual. Gym membership includes full access to weight rooms, cardio machines, indoor track, basketball courts, rock climbing, indoor pool, locker rooms and more.
University Health Services (UHS)
All full-time students, trainees, residents, and fellows on the East Baltimore Campus have access to the University Health Services. Spouses/domestic partners who are on the EHP Student Health Program are also eligble to be seen at UHS.
UHS provides medical, mental health and wellness services for its patients. Their team is staffed with internal medicine physicians, psychiatrists, a licensed psychologist, nurse practitioners (including a women’s health nurse practitioner), and licensed clinical social workers assisted by our clinical and administrative staff. UHS staff will assist you with your medical appointment scheduling, billing and insurance questions.

Johns Hopkins Student Assistance Program (JHSAP)
The JHSAP program offers numerous services to graduate students, including short-term counseling, crisis response, relationship support, school-life coaching and adjustment, educational workshops and dean/faculty/staff-student consultations. Visits to JHSAP are free, and you are not limited to the number of times you may access services. Spouses, partners and children are also able to access services at JHSAP.
